About the Author

AnimeLeko isn’t just another anime blog on the internet. It’s an independent project I built with one very clear goal in mind: to go way beyond the obvious. I’ve always felt that a lot of anime and manga carry deep layers most viewers completely miss — small details, subtle connections, and hidden symbolism that can completely change how you understand a story. That’s exactly why every theory, analysis, and explainer guide I write here exists: to pull those hidden layers into the light for anyone chasing a fuller experience.

If you’ve ever finished watching an anime with that nagging feeling that “something in there was never fully explained,” or caught yourself wondering if a random detail in the background actually meant something — you already understand exactly why this project exists. AnimeLeko was built to answer exactly those kinds of questions and open up space for more thoughtful, in-depth discussion.

Who I Am

My name is Leko, and I don’t watch anime just as casual entertainment or a way to kill time. To me, anime and manga have always been complex works of art. At some point, I realized I couldn’t consume them passively anymore. I felt this real need to break down every scene, connect the dots the author left behind, dig into hidden symbolism, and, most of all, try to figure out what the story hadn’t openly revealed yet. That restlessness is exactly what shaped how I see this medium — and how I write analytical content today.

My Story: From Fan to Theory-Crafter

My journey into the otaku world started the same way most people’s does: watching anime, getting emotionally invested in the stories, and bonding with the characters. But at some point along the way, it stopped being just daily entertainment. The hobby turned into curiosity, and that curiosity quickly turned into a genuine drive to understand the finest details behind how these stories are built.

I started constantly asking myself why a character made a certain drastic decision, whether some random background detail was intentional or just coincidence, and whether there was something bigger hiding behind events that seemed simple on the surface. When I went looking for those answers online, I noticed most sites only offered surface-level recaps and shallow explanations, skipping over the details that actually matter. That gap is exactly what pushed me to build AnimeLeko as a space for real depth.

Real-World Experience: Events and Community

My connection to this culture isn’t limited to a computer or phone screen. I’m an active part of the Brazilian otaku community, and I regularly attend the country’s biggest Japanese pop culture events, like Anime Friends and Ressaca Friends.

These conventions are way more than just meetup spots to me — they’re where new perspectives come to life, where theories about where a manga is headed get debated face-to-face, and where interpretations of the latest episodes get challenged in real time. A lot of the deep-dive theories and analyses I bring to the blog are directly shaped by those conversations with other passionate fans. That’s what keeps the content here feeling alive, real, and genuinely connected to how the community actually feels.

How I Analyze — and Why You Can Trust It

Everything published on AnimeLeko is grounded in narrative study and pattern recognition within each story’s lore — nowhere near shallow hot takes. Every article is built on a few core pillars:

  • Anime Theories: Where I dig into possible plot directions, visual clues, and paths the story could still take.
  • Anime Secrets: Where I unpack hidden symbolism, mythological or spiritual meaning, and details most people scroll right past.
  • Lists & Rankings: Where I break down technical comparisons, production details, and analysis in a strategic, opinionated way.
  • Guides & Recommendations: Where I help readers untangle complicated timelines, watch orders, and where to actually start.

Our commitment is simple: never hand you generic content or the same takes everyone’s already repeating on social media. My real goal is to make you see your favorite anime in a completely different light.

Transparency and My Connection With You

Our editorial philosophy comes down to one simple rule: we don’t do shallow content. Every line is written to spark reflection and open up new interpretations. To stay fully transparent with my readers and hold myself to real quality standards, I always make it clear that everything I write is based on critical analysis and interpretation — not fact. Some theories come out of community debates, and not everything represents an official, canon-confirmed answer from the creators. Honestly, that’s half the fun — chasing the clues is the whole point.

AnimeLeko is how I turned a personal passion into a hub that helps other people discover just how much these stories actually have to offer. If you’ve ever felt like your favorite series has way more going on beneath the surface than it lets on, you’ve found the right place on the internet.
